Delicious food and attentive service! The chilaquiles was delicious and gluten free. My friend said her chicken was a bit dry, but she did adjust the panini to not have ranch dressing. Overall, I really liked the food and didn't mind a 35 minutes wait on a Saturday at 1:30pm. Would come here again! The interior was very cute too.

I liked this place so much I came here twice during my quick trip to Monterey. My first visit was for lunch where I got a chicken salad. The second visit was for breakfast where I got an avocado and cheese omelet. Both meals were delicious and freshly made. The service was good and the restaurant is so cute. It's across the street from the beach and does have outdoor seating, so on a warm day it is a great place to relax and have a good meal.

Wow! Attentive service from the get go! Hubby had the "plate-size" buttermilk pancakes and sausage...excellent! And I had the standard eggs/toast/potatoes meal with bacon ...really good! Sitting outside was great and highly recommend. Tip: gps takes you the back way when much easier to walk along pedestrian path and approach the restaurant from ground level.

Great brunch/lunch spot in Monterey Bay. We came on a Friday afternoon and there was no wait. It was a windy day so we decided to sit inside, but there's outdoor seating as well with a view of the ocean. There's all day breakfast and lunch available so several options to choose from. Pricing is also decent for brunch in Monterey. We ordered the Baja Fish Tacos ($17.50) which comes with two tacos and a side of black beans and green salad. The tacos tasted great and was a good size. The salad didn't have much dressing on it, but still a nice side to have. Overall, a good place for breakfast/lunch with a view!

We ate at Wave Street Cafe on a beautiful Sunday noonish. We waited about 30 minutes for a table, which we took as a good sign. Busy is good. When we were offered a table, we were given a choice of inside or outside. Also, nice. We chose outside because we could people watch. Great spot for that! We had very good service with a team of people making sure our drink orders were taken and delivered. Our food order was taken swiftly and was delivered perfectly and in good time. Food was very good! The bacon and avocado omelette had almost an entire avocado in it--yum! The potatoes were very herby, in an almost French way. I liked them. They also delivered what they called "house made jam" with my toast. It was unique. I didn't ever get a chance to ask the flavor, but it seemed like it was some combo of roses and ?? Not a commonly found jam. Reuben was excellent although messy. Definitely needed a fork. Large chunks of corned beef and all the flavors were right. The marbled rye was so fragile (or the sauerkraut so wet) that the sandwich just fell apart. BUT delicious! We would definitely return to this place. I understand why it is so busy and popular!

Came here on Sunday afternoon, expecting the long (almost two-hour) wait for a patio table (for six plus an infant). The good news is they'll call you when your table is almost ready and give you some time to get there, so you can wander the shops and bay views of Cannery Row while you wait. The staff are incredibly friendly and communicate very well. There's never just one person servicing your table, they seem to work as a team to make sure all customers are taken care of. The food is fantastic. From personal experience, I can recommend the corn beef hash, chilaquiles, or any of the benedicts. It's a great place to brunch in Monterrey.

We came here because of the ambiance, and the pics of the food looked so appetizing. The ocean is visible, I would say, more from a vantage point than from a ground level dine-in spot. We got the following: Brioche French Toast (with strawberries and bananas that were an additional cost), the Denver Omelet, and the Bay Shrimp and Avocado Benedict. The best thing was probably the French toast. The pieces were perfectly drenched in egg and were perfect when having the syrup poured all over. The Denver Omelet came with a decent amount of protein but was not super impressionable. The Bay Shrimp Benedict had a good balance of shrimp and avocado, but the shrimp was on the fishy side (according to the SO). Service was fine.

We came here on a Saturday morning - more like during lunch hour than breakfast - and had no problem getting an outdoor table for my party of 4 and small dog. The outdoor seating is pretty much along that walk/bike trail, Monterey Bay Coastal Trail. We appreciated the good service, variety of foods on the menu. Everything was delicious! We ordered: the B.L.T. No mayo - bread was nicely toasted, bacon wasn't soggy, and lettuce & tomato were fresh. The fries were good and not soggy or greasy; the Calamari Steak & Eggs - delicious, the Calamari had good seasonings and wasn't rubbery or tough; the Fruity Pebbles waffle - this was so good in a simple way and not overly sweet. I could smell the fruity pebbles as soon as they put the plate down infront of me; the Chilaquiles with chorizo was yummy with a good blend of flavors. Portions were generous!
